This is a merger our proven tuner technology with state of the art control electronics to create the latest tuner generation. The on-board micro-processor and tuning firmware form a self-contained and fully calibrated test instrument. The micro-processor inside the tuner accepts ASCII format communication, via an industry standard TCP/IP interface, controls up to nine stepper motors (tuner axes) and executes interpolation and tuning functions for single probe (CCMT) tuners (one probe per frequency range). For tuners with more than one independent probe (MPT) covering the same frequency range to allow for harmonic tuning, external computing power is required, because of the exponentially growing number of combinations of tuner states (slug positions).

Programmable/Direct Reading Attenuators
Is a dual function direct reading and programmable rotary vane type attenuator for use in millimeterwave systems across the standard WR-03 frequency range of 220 to 330 GHz. The attenuator is an ideal piece of equipment in waveguide systems where a broad direct reading of attenuation is required. The default mode of operation is manual direct reading. In manual mode, the attenuation is adjustable with the large knob and the digital LCD screen displays the current attenuation value. The LCD screen is powered by an internal rechargable battery, which is charged via the 2.5mm DC jack by a provided DC to AC adapter. The 2.5mm DC jack also provides power to the stepper motor, encoder and internal microprocessor for the programmable mode function. The user can quickly switch to programmable mode by connecting the powered-up attenuator to a computer with the USB Type B port. In programmable mode, the attenuation is finely adjusted with a precision stepper motor by the internal microprocessor via user-entered serial port commands from the computer.

The test system is designed and customized to carry out 2.55*Intest as per Table 7 (test c) of IEC 60898 (also mentioned for routine testing of MCBs. The test is done at dc current to exactly analyze and correct the bimetallic properties of the MCB as far as thermal tripping is concerned. The unit comes with a pneumatically operated test fixture with in-built dc stepper motor that is controlled by a micro controller / PC to calibrate the breaker into a narrow tripping band programmed by the user.

Teledyne DALSA Semiconductor’s 150mm CCD process offers surface or buried channel operation at up to 15V with two or three layers of polysilicon and one, two or three layers of metal. A modular processing approach allows our foundry customers to adjust process parameters to meet the most demanding requirements for CTE (>99.999%), charge storage capacity, and dark current (<1nA/cm2). The base process uses 1X projection lithography with 2.5µm design rules, allowing die sizes of up to 100mm X 100mm. Where required, tighter alignment tolerances and smaller feature sizes can be obtained by using 5X lithography, using a mix and match or all-stepper approach. The maximum die size attainable with the stepper is 22mm X 22mm, but larger sensors can be fabricated using stitching.
