With enhanced cyber security features that support NERC CIP requirements, the TCG 02-G is designed for use in modern day smart grid / smart substations, electricity distribution, transmission, and generation protection. In addition industrial application systems and traditional substations are equally provided for. This master clock synchronizes multiple IEDs (Intelligent Electronic Devices) within a network, including protection relays, synchrophasors, event recording and remote telemetry units to enable accurate time stamping. The TCG 02-G is available as a base unit or with one of three expansion module options.

IO-Link

For operation with a PC, the switching power supply is equipped with a USB and RS-485 interface. A PC connected to the RS-485 interface enables the control of up to 32 power supplies. A USB interface on the back of the device connects to a Windows PC. The intelligent fan control adjusts the speed of rotation to the respective temperature and output power. Electronic Loads
The DSO and DSOT series electronic loads are designed using advanced linear technology.The DSO series offers two main functions: constant current and constant resistance. However, these loads can absorb full power between 20% and 100% of the acceptable input voltage thanks to the autoranging mode.For more extensive requirements, we offer 'DSOT' models that also include constant voltage and constant power functions. These functions are essential for testing voltage generators such as automotive alternators or photovoltaic panels to determine their power curve. In addition, DSOT models have a basic '0 Volt' characteristic, which means they can be used with input voltages as low as 0 Volt. However, they still maintain a high reaction speed, which can reach 1V/us and 8A/us.
