Cap Torque Testers
Imada cap torque testers measure cap tightening or loosening. The DTXS series cap torque tester can be used for rapid cap testing. The MTG allows for more accurate and repeatable results by maintaining a constant capping speed. Both testers have several ranges up to 85 lbf-in.

Spring Testers
Imada offers manual or motorized spring testers in vertical or horizontal configurations.Lever-operated manual systems enable rapid compression and tension spring testing.Wheel-operated manual systems enable slower, more precise movement with the hand wheel.Motorized compression testers offer the most control and highest degree of repeatability with the ability to set a constant test speed and range of movement. All spring testers can be configured with a digital force gauge with data output for analysis by data acquisition software. An optional digital distance meter to measure displacement is available.

Portable Force/Displacement Tester
The FSA-MSL Mini Material Tester is a portable force/displacment tester. The FSA-MSL is ideal for tests requiring very small movement, like switch tests. The tester also features a reversible base plate, allowing the tester to be used on uneven or obstructed surfaces. The highly visible EL display and plain language menus in eight languages make programming fast and easy. Both force and displacement values are displayed plus user-selectable data; high/low setpoints, peak, memory data, etc.

Mechanical Force Gauges
Imada mechanical force gauges are highly accurate instruments used to test the quality, strength or functionality of component parts or products. Imada mechanical force gauges check both compression and tension (push or pull). Peak force can be captured using the peak indicator needle and the tare ring compensates for the weight of attachments. Imada force gauges are constructed with a heavy-duty metal case and all metal components to enable them to retain their calibration for years with proper care. These mechanical force gauges never need charging or batteries and are intrinsically safe in hazardous environments.

Breakaway Torque Tester
Automatic Breakaway Torque Tester can be used to verify the actual tightened torque of a bolt. Torque controlled power tools are set to apply consistent torque, but fasteners are not necessarily tightened to that value if the tools are out of calibration. Breakaway torque tests require a skilled, experienced operator to sense when the bolt begins to breakaway.

Auto Loading Durometer
P2 Auto Durometers maximize the repeatability of hardness tests. The P2 features digital speed control to ensure constant speed during hardness tests. The proprietary flexible coupling ensures perfect contact with test samples. All operation and program functions are controlled using the touch screen LCD panel or remotely using an Ethernet connection. Both automated or manual tests can be performed. Dual timers enable recording of the “creep phenomenon” or tendency of the reading to move back as time elapses from the moment the sensor makes full contact with the sample.
